Mekhi Mendoza (he/him) is a Dominican artist, born and raised in Lawrence, MA, whose work plays with the creative spectrum from realism to abstraction. Mendoza expresses social and existential themes that he has encountered along his journey and surroundings through experimentation with a number of mixed mediums. He has experience in teaching both in and outside of schools, community and youth organizing, non-profit organization work, as well as youth leadership training.
