Michelle Collado (She/Her) is a Creative producer and former Collaborative Artist at Elevated Thought. As a first-generation Dominican raised in Lawrence, MA, she graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in 2022. Michelle’s work explores themes of Identity, time, mental health, and social justice while centering the lives of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. The political climate and her relationship with the immediate environment play a significant role in her art-making process. Michelle believes in the importance of building community which led her to gravitate to depicting people as her subjects.
